It was at my work place,I met a customer who was so old may be in her late 80's that she could hardly manage to walk but was so strong willed that she had come to my office on her own.I kept looking at her when she was entering the office,i just left everything and ran towards her to give her support so that she felt comfortable.
Later i made her sit on the chair and after knowing her issue,I resolved her problem. Then she told me to bow down and placed her palms on my head.I felt great as if I have achieved something..She told me to give my phone no. so that she could call me someday to her home.I felt elated...........
After sometime when i finished her work, when i went to her and informed her everything is fine. She reverted back saying I stay alone in my home, nobody is there to take care of me,I was amazed, how this lady would do her household chores. But she said I manage everything. These were the words that have left an everlasting impression on my mind..She also told me that she had children but no one took care of her.......tears started rolling from my eyes but yes I controlled them......as I was talking a STRONG person.
Then she started leaving the place....after a few steps, she turns back and said"naana ,nuvvu vastaavu kada maa intitki?"(kid, make sure u come to my house),I nodded and assured her that i will certainely someday....
It was just 30 min that I was with her,but she being a strong woman,a mother.........the tender care follwed.......mother's rock.......
I got to learn a great lesson to learn from this lady .....
